Eco Marine is excited to welcome Amy Fisher, Temporary Assistant Marine Consultant, as the most recent addition to our consultancy and survey team. Amy started at Eco Marine Consultants in June and has already gotten stuck in with assisting our consultancy and survey teams on a range of projects, including image analysis, epibenthic surveys, and benthic surveys.
Before starting her role at Eco Marine, Amy gained experience in marine data collection, analysis, and reporting from researching shark movements for her MRes. Amy has also completed a placement at Cornwall County Council, assisting in the devolvement and outreach of a new local marine nature recovery strategy and as a research assistant for a project on fish assemblages, as well as continuously volunteering in marine mammal rehabilitation and cetacean acoustic monitoring. Outside of work, Amy enjoys exploring the UK coastline through swimming, rock-pooling, and snorkelling.
